MOSCOW, Apr 12 (PRIME) -- Gold producer Nordgold, controlled by Russian tycoon Alexei Mordashov, has failed to pay a U.S. $8.25 million coupon on a $400 million 2024 Eurobond, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
"The non-payment was due to technical reasons on the side of the issuer and its guarantors in the process of payment to the main payment agent," the company said.
